BIO

multi award-winning juno nominated recording artist

Alternative Country/Americana Multi Award-winning Songstress Tracy Bone was honoured with a JUNO-nominee for her country/pop influenced debut album No Lies (2010) to receiving “Songwriter of the Year” nods for her follow-up country album Woman of Red (2012).

She continues to release musically evolving song singles after a four-year personal healing hiatus. Bone built upon her 18 year musical career; defined by emotional depth, melodic strength backed by a fiery energetic confidence and a swath of creative medicine.

More than a musician, she is a mentor, storyteller, and trailblazer. A voice of strength, heritage, and revolution in contemporary music. Honest, intimate, and deeply rooted in Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) and omuskegowuk (swampy cree) identity and influence, Tracy’s songs transform personal experience into shared truth.

Tracy Bone may have had quite the backstory (full of intergenerational trauma, racism and hard decisions), but that's what makes her strength in music something quite meaningful and worth taking in.
